It is one of the premier neighborhoods in the area, with about 1000 canal-front and 400 golf-course homes as a mixture of single-family, villas, and condominiums and surrounds more than 20 miles of canals. Most homes are custom-built, and many of the homes have their own boat docks, some with sailboat access to the Gulf of Mexico.
